General Information
Plastic we try to avoid wherever possible and reasonable. Our snail rings are therefore made of sheet steel (and not the usual plastic) - so they are not only more beautiful to look at, they also last much longer and can remain in the bed for many seasons.
Durable Alternative.
This steel sheet ring cordons off the plant and offers an effective barrier against voracious snails. The wide overhanging section at the rim prevents the snails from crawling towards the cherished green. Invariably, we prefer a sustainable solution – that is why we searched for an alternative to the ubiquitous commercially available plastic rings. We found a manufacturer who produces these snail barriers from steel sheet. Each steel sheet ring is coated with a thick layer of zinc and therefore permanently protected against rusting.

Made of galvanised steel sheet. Height 12 cm, Ø 27 cm. Weight 400 g.
In a larger format: protection for dahlias, delphiniums and other ornamental plants that are very popular with snails and require a little more space when they are budding. When used in the vegetable patch, also suitable for planting more than one young vegetable plant. Height 15 cm, Ø 36 cm.
