In the Woods Eau de Parfum

"In the Woods" is a unisex perfume full of character, in which different woody notes are played with throughout the fragrance pyramid, in the top, heart and base: With Canadian Hemlock Fir in the top note, Siberian Pine in the heart note and North American Balsam Fir in the base, an earthy, woody, warm, yet light fragrance composition has been created. The perfume contains a high proportion of natural essences coming from France and Canada, Siberia or North America. Thus, the oil of Hemlock fir is obtained from its needles. The trees, whose branches were already smoked by the native inhabitants of Canada to brighten their mood, can grow 20 to 30 meters high and live up to 500 years. Pine oil comes from the needles of the Siberian pine, which grows in the pristine regions of the taiga. The absolute of the American balsam fir, it is found mainly in New England, is obtained from the balsam of the fir cones and by scratching the bark.
Light, fresh notes of pink pepper, juniper, cistus in the top note and mint, elemi resin, black pepper and geranium in the heart note accompany the forest accords. Labdanum, cedar and cashmere wood and amber in the base give the fragrance the warm, sensual note.

In the name of the Hamburg-based perfume studio Esensielle, fragrance (l'essence), senses (les sens) and the essential (l'essentiel) merge. With precious and rare natural essences, they bring the scent of nature into the bottle and awaken smells deeply rooted in our memories. "In the Woods," a more austere perfume for men and women, is also inspired by nature. The three different forest notes give it freshness and grounding warmth. Jeannette Hegmann created the eau de parfum in collaboration with French perfumer Clément Salva. The bottle comes from the Parisian glass manufacturer Pochet du Courval.
