When a ball gets its own trampoline, the result is Wooden Roundnet : In this game, a small ball makes its way over a stretched net, which gives it the necessary spin to bounce further. The rules are simple, but the fun of the fast-paced game is all the greater: two teams of two line up in an X formation around the frame for the serve; all players are allowed to move freely, there is no defined playing area. The ball is played with the flat of the hand, but may also be received with any other part of the body. However, after three contacts with the ball within the own team, it must be passed over the net to the other team - preferably in such a way that it cannot be received: If it touches the ground, the frame or hits the net twice, this scores a point for the opposing team. The opposing team receives further points if the ball is played more than twice in succession by the same team member, more than three times in a row or even caught. The team that scores 11, 15 or 21 points first wins. The rules for the Roundnet Pro competitions are somewhat more comprehensive. However, we think that the fun of the game is paramount and have left it at the simple rules, which you can of course expand at any time to suit your mood.

Roundnet is a fairly young sport - in Germany, for example, the first professional competitions only took place in 2019. However, thanks to the simple rules and high fun factor, the game has quickly found many fans. What's more, it can be played almost anywhere, indoors and outdoors: indoors, in the park, on the beach... So that you can take the Roundnet with you wherever you go, our version is lightweight and portable. The frame is assembled on site from ten individual parts and covered with the net - and you're ready to go. The frame elements are carefully milled from solid, untreated birch plywood and the surfaces are finely sanded. The net is made of durable nylon.
