Women's vest with embroidery

This feminine cropped vest can be combined just as well with trousers as with a dress or skirt. Lanius makes it from certified organic cotton. The dense, sturdy fabric has a subtle diamond pattern and the attached border is embroidered with a herringbone pattern. Further fine embroidery and narrow fringed edges on the dividing seams at the front and on the shoulder yoke create a slightly playful look. The fastening-free and unlined vest has a straight cut and wide sleeve openings, giving it a comfortable and casual fit.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
