Women's sneaker TENCEL™

TENCEL™ is a lyocell fiber based on wood from sustainably managed forests and plantations, which is obtained in a closed production cycle. Woven and knitted fabrics made from it are characterized by a soft feel and are cool against the skin. Lanius has this sneaker made from sustainable TENCEL™. Its good wearing properties are complemented by an insole made of natural latex and an outsole made of EVA foam and rubber, which provide the best footfall cushioning. Ribbed knit cuffs also provide good closure at the ankle.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
