Women's knitted scarf, multicolor

With its colourful knitting pattern, this scarf is a real eye-catcher and not only passionate knitters will recognize it at first glance: It is knitted by hand. In addition, the yarn colors are selected at random. This means that every scarf looks a little different and is therefore unmistakably unique. Inti has the scarf made in Ecuador from baby alpaca and a small amount of polyacrylic and polyamide, which makes the knitted fabric more durable and easier to care for. The uniquely silky baby alpaca is not only particularly warming, it also has incomparably fine and soft fibers: The fiber fineness is between 20.1 and 23 microns. This makes the scarf a cuddly companion for the cool season that even wool-sensitive people will appreciate.

The landscape of South America provides the two founders Anna Cales and Leon van den Broek with the inspiration for their collections – and the native alpaca herds contribute the unique, silky alpaca fibres. On the continent, in Ecuador, Inti produces knitwear and timeless accessories from the fibre the Incas called the “gift of the gods”. Inti processes the fibre mostly in combination with the somewhat firmer wool of merino sheep and has it hand-crafted by knitters in traditional homework, yielding us knitwear in small, rarefied series.
