Flannel nightgown. With checked gingham.
This winter ladies nightgown, made of 100% twine flannel, shows a contrasting plaid pattern known as checked gingham. It consists of crisscrossing opaque stripes of color that alternate with equally wide gaps in the base color. This produces white, half-colored and colored squares at the intersections. The front of the nightgown has tucks and the button placket is adorned with twine linen buttons. The long sleeves end in subtle frills at the narrow cuffs, and the side slits allow freedom of movement.
