Women's cardigan short

Luxurious Egyptian cotton from controlled organic cultivation and European linen come together in this cardigan. Egyptian cotton has particularly long fibers and can therefore be spun into a fine yet strong yarn. This makes it particularly durable, silky soft and delicately shiny. The alliance with linen makes the yarn even more durable. The flax fiber is also breathable, as it can absorb a lot of moisture and quickly release it again. The combination of the two materials and the light and airy knit make this cardigan the ideal garment for summer. It is finished with raglan sleeves and a fine ribbed knit on the sleeves and body. Striking mother-of-pearl buttons round off the design.

On the western tip of the Breton peninsula lies the department of Finistère. According to the Roman name, this is the end of the earth. For the Bretons, on the other hand, it is “Penn ar Bed”, the beginning of the world – a reading that does far more justice to the brand “Les Racines du Ciel” (i. e., the roots of heaven). Nathalie Goyette and Christian Tournafol founded the Quimper-based brand. The two have been producing elegant, feminine and timeless women’s fashion since 2005. Besides aiming at high-quality standards, Les Racines du Ciel’s declared entrepreneurial goal is to promote artisanal traditions and products and thus preserve jobs in impoverished rural areas. They choose their production locations correspondingly.
