Wire mesh mat coconut

This almost indestructible wire mesh mat has been patented since 1955 by Beckland in Lünen. It consists of an above-average, galvanized wire mesh (wires 2 mm Ø, in the frame 6 mm Ø). This mesh gives the mat shape and hold. The round brushes are made of extra-coarse, extremely hard-wearing, natural coconut fibers. The cleaning effect of the brushes is impressive: it thoroughly removes sand, dirt, and snow. Thus, the mat provides not only at the front door but also at the entrance to the garden or in front of the office container of the construction engineer its best service. Even when snowed in, it is ready to use by simply turning it over. The open construction keeps the mat dry and clean on top; the dirt trickles through the mesh. The mat is not self-supporting and therefore must always lie on firm ground. It features a non-slip rubber pad. Beckland has the mat made on the original machines in the coconut fiber production area in Sri Lanka.
