General Information
Limoges porcelain.
For hundreds of years, Limoges, in the former French province of Limousin, has been one of the most important locations in Europe for enamel and porcelain manufacture and decoration. Our Limoges porcelain products are pressed into a metal form and smooth fired smooth at 1400 °C. All window and door fittings are solid brass and turned on a lathe, milled and then nickel plated. The exposed parts will tend to tarnish if you do not occasionally polish them.
From France. Limoges porcelain
Limoges, located in the former French province of Limousin, has been one of the most important porcelain production locations in Europe for centuries. The following door handles are made of Limoges porcelain, pressed in a metal mold and fired at 1,400 °C until smooth. All brass parts are turned from the solid material, milled and nickel-plated. The bright parts will darken to a warm tone unless you polish them from time to time.
