Werner Schuhe. Proven fit, comfortable to wear
Natural leathers, wherever possible chrome-free and vegetable-tanned, as well as a pleasant wearing sensation due to tried-and-tested fits characterize Werner shoes - in line with the claim of the family business founded in 1911 to produce beautiful and good shoes. What once began with sturdy work and hiking boots developed into the chic après-ski boots of the 1970s/80s and the current range of sporty and elegant (leisure) shoes for men and women. Werner also actively follows new developments in the leather market. Some of the shoe models, for example, are lined with olive leather®, which is very kind to the skin and for the tanning of which olive leaves are used, which in any case occur during the annual pruning of trees. For many years, Werner's shoes were made at the company's founding location in Pirmasens, but today the "Steppmäde" and "Zwicker" work in Slovakia. The raw materials come from Germany and neighboring European countries, which guarantees consistently high quality and keeps transport distances as short as possible.
