Watering pot for plugging

Anyone whose aesthetic awareness has ever stumbled over the fact that a PET bottle protrudes from the planter as a water reservoir should take this watering pot to heart and plant. Hand-potted in Germany from low-fired and therefore air- and water-permeable clay, it takes care of your balcony and indoor plants. The principle is well-known and as simple as it is resource-saving: fill the clay pot to the brim with water and push it into the (rooted) soil with the cone-shaped end first, so that the tip constantly absorbs moisture, stores it and releases it evenly back into its surroundings as it gets drier. In this way, you can ensure a continuous supply of water even for older, well-established potted plants and also need to water less frequently. Just make sure you add water regularly. Our tip: If you also cover the soil in the pot with a layer of mulch, the moisture will last even longer.
