Watercolor and drawing pad cotton paper

The 20 sheets of this watercolor and drawing pad are made of pure cotton (rag). The paper (1.8 times the volume) has a natural gray surface is acid-free and buffered, which is good for aging resistance. The stock and surface sizing with corn starch (bulk) and potato starch (surface) reduces the absorbency of the paper and thus the running ("bleeding") of watercolor paint or ink.
Our supplier has the paper produced according to his own "recipe" - that is, according to his own specifications - in the Netherlands on a very slow-running Fourdrinier. This gives the fibers enough time to distribute themselves evenly in the paper mass. On the one hand, this promotes the homogeneity of the paper and its surface, and at the same time it increases the stability of the paper - even when wet. The watercolor paper is therefore suitable not only for watercolor, but also for all other wet techniques, for example, with ink, ink, gouache or brush pen.
The spine of 1.8 mm thick bookbinding board provides a solid base to the last sheet, the cover sheet is made of recycled cardboard.
