Water storage for plants from cellulose strips

Never was (watering) water saving easier than with these compostable strips of cellulose fleece. The fleece strips are added to the planting soil in pots, tubs or raised beds when dry and swell as soon as they come into contact with moisture. Their main function is to store supplied water and thus keep the soil in the planter moist for a longer period of time. In this way, you will need to water less frequently, and your plants will enjoy a steady supply of water right where it matters - directly at the roots. In addition, the cellulose strips with their water storage function also reduce the risk of waterlogging due to overwatering.

The contents of one pack are sufficient for about 50 l of soil. Our tip: In addition to use in planters and raised beds, the cellulose strips are also suitable for supporting newly planted woody plants, roses or perennials during the growing season. To do this, simply add a few strips into the planting hole to ensure that the soil around the still young roots does not dry out.
