Waffle iron cast iron
General Information
The appliance must be heavy so that it can absorb, distribute and retain enough heat. It is therefore made of pure, uncoated gray cast iron. Both sides are ground flat, so the iron can be heated on both electric and gas hobs. Care should be taken on glass ceramic hobs to avoid scratches. The waffle iron comes from the Swedish iron foundry Skeppshult.
