It is almost impossible to defend yourself against voles. And yet there is a simple method that has been proven to repel the burrowing pest in the long term: place a wire mesh basket in the planting hole when planting. The basket should protrude above the soil surface and, once the plant has been planted and the hole filled with soil, it is pressed down towards the plant so that no rodents can reach the roots from above. The wire mesh of our vole basket is galvanized and will perform its protective function over a long period of time.

There is a simple, proven method to keep at bay the gnawing nuisance: placing a wire basket in the ground when planting. The galvanized wire basket should stick out from the ground a bit and when the plant is put in the ground and the hole is filled with earth, the basket should be squeezed around the plant, to keep the rodents from can getting at the roots from above. Can be used for roses, berry bushes and even for fruit trees.
