General Information
Plastic we try to avoid wherever possible and appropriate. In search of a vertical planting system, it was therefore relatively quickly clear to us that it would have to let build itself, because such systems for wall greening were until then really only produced from plastic. The result of our work they see here.
A Wall-mounted Alternative to Plastic
This planter is specially made for Manufactum from weather-proof hot-dip galvanised steel sheeting. Two long and two short planter boxes are part of the system and fit into a sturdy rectangular base plate. The base plate features slots in three rows, and you may choose the position of the planters (and change it later), making it easy to accommodate plants which grow at different rates. If necessary, you can remove a box or two completely. All planter boxes have drainage holes. We recommend, however, that you line the bottom of each planter box with a piece of wool fleece or other absorbent material. That way, excess water is stored, reducing the risk of dehydration in very warm weather in spring and summer.

Made in Slovakia for Manufactum. Hot-dip galvanised steel sheeting (1.5 mm thick). Two large planter boxes (height 13.5 cm, width 59.5 cm, depth 10.5 cm, each with three drainage holes) and 2 small planter boxes (height 13.5 cm, width 27 cm, depth 10.5 cm, each with one drainage hole). Base plate height 90 cm, width 70 cm, depth (including the planter boxes) 14 cm. Total weight 12 kg.
Mounting material is not included and should be chosen separately to suit the type of wall.
