Clear design and subtle color scheme - this vase leaves the dramatic appearance to your bouquet, while it resolutely yet gracefully holds your arrangement of branch and stem, leaf and flower in shape and life.

The vases are made of stoneware, i.e. sintered material, and are therefore by nature largely impermeable to water. In order to put the functional icing on the cake of this material property and at the same time enhance the aesthetic effect of form and color, the vase is painted by an experienced hand after the first firing, then glazed transparently on the outside and inside and finally fired again. The result is a subtly designed yet robust, waterproof vase that is not afraid to take a leading role on the stage of your decorations, even with long-term use.

The young Cologne-based label Onomao was born from the idea of combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. When brothers Arthur and Felix Wystrychowski - one a landscape architect, the other a trained chef and graphic designer - founded their company in 2018, they were certain that their products would have as little impact on the environment as possible thanks to their long service life and short delivery routes, and that fair trade should not remain an empty phrase. With a long-standing connection to Atlantic waves, the country and its people, the two passionate surfers traveled to Portugal and went in search of people who (still) understand their craft, who work with local raw materials and carefully sourced natural materials and with whom they can implement their design ideas. This is how the brothers came across manufacturers who still rely on cultivating and preserving the regionally rooted art of pottery. The manufacture of this product is thanks to one of these tradition-conscious Portuguese craft businesses, a family company founded in the center of Portugal in 1988.
