Sebo vacuum cleaner

The filter system consists of three components: a three-layer filter bag, a motor protection filter and the hospital-grade filter. The filtered air then exits through the patented "Airbelt" - Sebo's name for the wrap-around, padded bumper on the unit that integrates the air outlet. This unit not only traps the smallest dust particles, but also filters out allergens dissolved and stirred up in the carpet. And all this is done in a specially sealed housing that does not allow the passed air to escape unfiltered at any point: The system was developed specifically for use in hospitals, where it continues to set standards to this day.
Unlike HEPA filters, which work on a mechanical basis by means of a physical barrier (pores that can quickly clog), the hospital-grade microfilter makes use of the principle of electrostatics: electrically charged microfibers attract the dust particles, allowing a relatively open structure, lowering the tendency to clog and favoring airflow. Filter performance therefore decreases only slowly, but is maintained until the filter is changed. Normally, it is sufficient to change the filters every 2 years or after 16 filter bags to maintain 100% filter performance. For allergy sufferers, Sebo recommends changing the filter after one year or after 8 filter bags at the latest. Correct and frequent vacuuming helps, by the way, not only allergy sufferers, also your carpet thanks it with a longer life: this is due to the fact that when vacuuming - with combi floor nozzle or electric brush - the pile rises again and thus offers less attack surface for wear than a "flat treaded" pile.

With up to 890 watts power consumption, the Sebo vacuum cleaner is a powerful universal device and offers thoughtful details:
- In the third filter stage, a hospital-grade filter is used, which filters out nearly 100% of all allergens.
- Air passing through the housing exits sideways through the patented padded bumper, which minimizes noise and air turbulence (air is not centrally exhausted or even blown into someone's face) and protects furniture surfaces, walls and door frames from damage.
- An infinitely variable suction control is located directly on the handle.
- Stainless steel telescopic tube 57-94 cm; with a cable length of 7.5 m and a hose length of 2.1 m, the operating radius is over 10 m. The hose is already equipped with an internal electric cord for the separately available electric vacuum brush.
- A crevice nozzle and an upholstery nozzle are housed in the unit; the dusting brush with long, soft bristles made of horsehair can be used to clean delicate or contoured surfaces such as books. By means of the supplied holder, it can be attached to the telescopic tube.

Sebo has been manufacturing top-quality vacuum cleaners in the Rhineland since 1978.
