Upcycling pennant chain

No garden party without a pennant chain! We wouldn't want to be without this garden decoration and we're very sure that the colorful flags will also cut a fine figure above your garden gate, on your fence, marquee or camping vehicle as a welcome or dance invitation. They will always put you in a good mood, if only because their individual pennants are cut out of discarded, carefully cleaned rice sacks and then sewn together. This is waste prevention of the most decorative kind! The garland is also weatherproof and you can use it again and again over many seasons. The only downside is that the rice sack material is not UV-resistant. Over the years and with constant exposure to sunlight, the vibrant colors will fade. There is a little surprise when you unpack the pennant chain, because each piece is unique. We cannot tell you in advance which colors the pennants in your pennant chain will have in detail. But what we do know for sure is that your piece of jewelry is made under fair conditions in Sri Lanka.
