Universal scissors Hermanos

A universally applicable scissors with features from the professional tool sector: this classically beautiful working tool has a special surface that is applied in a sophisticated manufacturing process called PVD. In this so-called "Physical Vapor Deposition", a technique mainly used in the production of medical tools or for very high-quality watches, the components are completely coated with a thin layer of titanium nitride, an extremely dense and exceptionally hard metal compound. Applied in a vacuum, the shears receive effective, long-lasting protection against wear of the surfaces and especially the cutting edges. The hardness of the surface corresponds to that of sapphires. The effect is that the blades are less susceptible to wear, maintain their sharpness, and do so with very little resistance during cutting. The shears cut almost any material, even Kevlar, carbon or fiberglass. The base material itself is a high carbon tool steel drop forged in Spain.

Care instructions: These scissors do not belong in the dishwasher. Wipe the scissors dry after cleaning and occasionally apply some blade oil. Discoloration may occur on the blade material. However, this is not a sign of inferior quality, but only indicates the rather high carbon content in the material. In case of flash rust, the use of the rust eraser is recommended.
