Mühle has developed these synthetic fibres in cooperation with a company specializing in synthetic fibres. Not only can they keep up with badger hair, they can even do a little more: extremely resistant to soap, water and mechanical stress, they are even more durable and, above all, easier to care for than natural hair. Nevertheless, even with synthetic trimmings, thorough rinsing after use and hanging storage ensure that the shaving brush lasts a long time. Silvertip Fibre® is a plant-based fiber that consists of 37% renewable raw materials. The fibers are processed by hand and are particularly soft and fine at the tips so that they produce a nice firm lather. At the same time, the lower part of the hair is strong enough to provide a pleasant massage effect even when wet. Incidentally, 30% less energy is required for production and 63% fewer greenhouse gases are released than in the production of conventional synthetic fibers.
