Towel Waffle Piqué Lyocell Linen

In this product, the Finnish weavers of Lapuan Kankurit have included an Austrian development, Lyocell. The cellulose fibre is exceptionally strong, smooth and soft, and most importantly, Lyocell is highly absorbent. Thanks to the structure of the fibre, the towel immediately absorbs moisture into the interior of the fibre but releases it into the environment just as quickly.
A honeycomb pique, which combines the properties of Lyocell, linen and cotton, is the perfect fabric for towels. Lyocell maximises absorbency, the robust linen yarn guarantees stability and durability and the cotton is responsible for the fabric's soft feel – the weave itself has a soft massaging effect on the skin.

The functionality of bathroom products is a top priority in Finland, the land of sauna enthusiasts, so textiles have to fulfil high standards in terms of absorbency, durability and texture. In the West Finnish town of Lapua, the linen weaving workshops of Lapuan Kankurit, a family-run company now in its fourth generation, draws on its weaving experience to meet precisely these high standards and requirements.
