To protect outdoor tomato plants from infestation with the dreaded Braunrot and damage to the leaves and fruits, rain and hail protection is essential. We offer a roof for this purpose, which is available to the plants from the beginning of the season after the Ice Saints in May until the last harvest in autumn, because with a total height of 2.25 m it can grow up to approx. 1.80 m tomato height. Not automatically, but quite uncomplicated, since the telescopic tubes made of weather-resistant aluminum can be adjusted continuously as soon as the two wing screws are loosened. Meanwhile, the entire frame stands firmly in the ground: at the lower ends, the tubes are equipped with spikes that can be easily inserted about 40 cm into the ground. The actual canopy, made of unbreakable, elastic polycarbonate, is supplied as a roll and simply slides into the provided retaining brackets when the entire structure is erected. And what's more: this tomato canopy not only grows with you, it can also easily move with you and set up in a new place in the garden, as it brings hardly any weight of its own and is easy to carry (with two people) on the tubes.
