Throwing skittles game Weikky

Mark out a suitable area in your garden or in your favorite park. Weikky is a game played outdoors (and if you need a little practice aiming and throwing, you might want to keep a good distance from your teammates). Three to six players are recommended as the ideal round for this fun game, but you can ultimately compete in Weikky with as many people as you like. And since our version of the game is made of solid beech wood, you can expect many happy rounds of play.

Throwing, hitting, counting points - that's what Weikky is all about. In the beginning, as so often, there is order. Twelve numbered wooden cones are placed close together in a fixed grouping. The wooden cones must be knocked over with the help of the throwing stick - the suggested distance is three to four meters, but of course the distance can be varied according to the age and throwing power of the other players. To score points, it is not enough to hit the cones, oh no. The cones that are hit must also fall over with as much momentum as possible - because after the points are counted, they are set up again in exactly the same place where their tips are pointing after they have fallen, or possibly even flown. The distance between the cones and the playing area therefore increases with each throw and hit - and with it the difficulty of hitting a cone. If only one cone falls, the score is counted, which is engraved in large letters on the wooden cone and thus permanently legible. So for all your will to win, you won't be able to argue your way out of your score with barely decipherable numbers. If, on the other hand, several cones fall, their numbers are added together. You may even want to design your own scoring formula, but whichever variant you choose: Exactly 50 points, no more, no less, must be scored in total if you want to emerge victorious from the game. If you overshoot this score with your last hit (for now), you will be reset to 25 points and allowed to stalk the 50 mark again ... oh no, approach it. So a good eye, a coordinated powerful throwing arm and a clever (number) strategy are required to find entry into the Weikky Hall of Fame as the winner*. Let the throwing game begin!
