Tea towel Mühlviertler linen

The Upper Austrian company Leinenweberei Vieböck uses high-quality long-fiber flax for this robust and pleasant to the touch tea towel. The weaving base remains natural, i.e. the yarn is neither bleached nor dyed, while the check pattern is woven (and not printed) from yarn-dyed linen. Due to the high thread density and the strong linen yarn (thickness Nm 12), the material weight of 269 g/sqm is quite high compared to other tea towels, which is why this cloth is not only thicker, but also has a higher absorbency. Linen is naturally dirt-repellent, antistatic and low-linting, its smooth surface makes it easy to clean and it dries surprisingly quickly. It is advisable to wash the cloth two or three times before use so that it develops its full absorbency. Another typical feature of linen is that it becomes a little softer and even more grippy with every wash.
