This shoe polishing box from Tapir was actually developed for displaying their shoe polishing products at sales calls. However, it is so well designed that by now it is produced for consumer use. The beechwood from Solling in Lower Saxony is finely sanded and lightly oiled. The outside parts are fastened with dovetail joints. The carrying-handled is shaped to hold a shoe while it is being polished.
