Table runner Equipe

The table runner of the series to place individually or at longer tables in combination with other parts of the series EQUIPE. Colorful or plain, the runner can be complemented with the tablecloths and napkins of the table linen set. The durable material ensures a relaxed time at the dining table, because if something goes wrong, all parts of the series are machine washable.

Textile designer Julia Dichte has been thinking about the use and application of table linen in everyday life with MAGAZIN. Together with the textile weaving mill Tissage Moutet, based in the Basque country in the southwest of France, where the theme fell on fertile ground, we developed EQUIPE. The result is a series of table linen in various shapes and sizes, which can be combined individually or several times in different order. In addition, the range of colors and the double-sided use allow an almost infinite variety of applications. The cotton yarns, dyed through in ten colors, are woven in such a way that three different basic colors of the fabric are produced with alternating colors of the stripes. Technically, it reads like this: an eight-ply twill weave, also known as diamond twill, forms an eight-ply satin weave in the stripes. Thanks to a weft- and warp-heavy weave, the two-sidedness is created. The robust fabric is machine-washable at 60 °C and can therefore be used by families with children at the table without any worries. EQUIPE is a new kind of table linen. With its modularity it provides variety on the dining table and with its fresh and playful appearance it makes you want to rediscover the qualities of textile on the dining table.
