General Information
Planting pot for seedlings.
In commercial horticulture such pots are principally used to proliferate seedlings; the rooted seedling can be transplanted, together with its planting pot, and has therefore the best preconditions for excellent growth. Planting pots are also well designed for the precision planting of large seeded plants, such as cucumbers, beans or even sweet peas.
Coconuts instead of peat.
These pots here are not, as is commonly the case, made of peat, but instead of coconut fibers – an excellent material alternative, which makes using peat superfluous and contributes to the protection of bogs. Placed in a flat container with water, the tablets expand to become a substrate filled planting pot; a netting of cotton gauze maintains its shape.
