Classic Italian Form.
In Italy, on a well-laid table, you always find this sugar bowl in the centre. The round shape with two short handles and simple lid dates back to a time when sugar was no longer thought a luxury in Italian households and therefore turned into a treat accessible to everyone. Previously, there had been containers with locks. The housewife had the appropriate keys and rationed the sweetener for the coffee. Ilsa in Piedmont provides us with these classic sugar bowls. The metalworking company has been manufacturing utensils for coffee making and other kitchen accessories for more than 70 years.
