The winner of this clever strategy game is the first player to place four chips in a row – horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. In the course of the play, the game trains logical thinking and visual perception simultaneously. This edition made entirely of solid beech wood has natural robustness and a pleasant feel (not to mention the equally pleasant side effect of enabling you to banish some plastic from your life effortlessly). A beechwood pin serves to secure the chips: it keeps them in place when you transport or store the game.  The game, sometimes called Connect Four or Plot Four, already belongs to the classics, although it conquered the gaming world as recently as 1974. That is to say: it is still in its infancy compared to strategy games like chess or backgammon.
