Step stool oak wood

Versatile, this step stool joins the ranks of practical small furniture that can be used as a seat or step, as a side table or bedside table. Design-wise, it bears the clear signature of Form & Refine and can thus be combined with the other furniture of the Danish manufacturer in our range. Thanks to the simple form, it also fits into almost any style of living. Constructively, it convinces with stability and sturdiness. It owes this to the material used - solid, oiled oak wood - which is neatly crafted and thus withstands even greater loads. Small but fine details such as rounded edges, the extended, large-area lower step, or the side panels crafted from a single piece testify to the attention to detail and the care taken in design and manufacture. The feet are equipped with plastic glides, so that the floor is protected even when pushed in a lively manner. However, thanks to additional grip bar under the upper step, the step stool is also easy to carry.

Form & Refine is a Danish design label founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen. It exemplarily follows the Scandinavian design tradition and continues it at the same time. A central point is the harmonious combination of aesthetics, function and material. The designs are clear and restrained, function leads to form and the pure materials, which are allowed to retain their original visual details and forms, are processed with perfect craftsmanship. This is always done in the countries of origin of the materials, which shortens transport distances and at the same time supports the local craft culture.
