Tape dispenser steel

Adhesive tape dispensers made of metal are now a rarity, and if you can still find some, you can see them all too often that overdose of design will, which has already happened to many things mutated from useful everyday object to "design object". This one is completely free of such exaggeration. It comes from Japan and is made for the retailer who, by virtue of his profession, handles a lot of tape - and for him it must above all be robust, durable, practical, variable and repairable (in short: worth its price). The simply constructed body, made of sheet steel, is given weight by its solid steel base; rubber feet prevent it from slipping away when the film is torn off, which in sum allows it to be operated with one hand. Two plastic rollers allow the use of up to 2.5 cm wide adhesive film rolls with the common inner diameters of 25 and 75 mm (the latter with a maximum outer diameter of 11.4 cm). The removable rollers can be plugged into each other and replaced as the screwed blade made of sheet steel in case of need.
