In the Swabian metal barometer factory Lufft, founded in 1881, valued measuring instruments and weather stations for domestic and commercial use were built until 2012. In the meantime, Lufft primarily manufactures electronic measuring stations for recording and evaluating environmentally relevant data. The production of mechanical end-user products in-house has been completely abandoned and placed in trusted hands in partnership. These mechanical measuring devices are now produced under license by Fischer Feingerätebau GmbH in the Ore Mountains, which has been manufacturing mechanical weather measuring devices with consistent accuracy for decades and has maintained a good relationship with Lufft for a long time. We are pleased that two of our suppliers are working together in this way. Because we are glad that the devices will continue to be manufactured under the same high quality requirements and execution standards - and because, in addition to the proven Lufft name, the technical knowledge that Lufft has acquired over the decades will be preserved.
