Maybe not everything was better in the past - but some things were really good. That's why we like to select our products based on a historical design once in a while. In the case of our stacking staircase made of spruce wood, it was even several design ideas that we have combined into one good thing. The beautiful harvest and storage basket is now manufactured exclusively for Manufactum.
Harvest, carry, stack
This stacking crate can be used as a harvest basket as well as a storage crate. The curved, sturdy handle allows it to be carried comfortably with one hand, even when full - so when harvesting, one in each hand for convenience. The side walls are higher than those of other harvest and storage boxes, so that more and also larger fruits (turnips, celeriac, cabbages) fit in easily. At the same time, it is easier to reach into the crates from above. This not only makes it easier to store and remove the stored goods, but also, over the course of weeks or months, to check the contents of the crates for signs of pressure or rot. Up to six stairs can be stacked to form a variable and mobile shelf - and can then also hold all kinds of other small household items, tools or similar.

Stacking crates with 3 bottom strips, each 1.8 cm apart. Made from local spruce wood. The wood is joined with nails. Height 29 cm (incl. handle), width 48 cm, depth 33 cm. Weight 2.4 kg. Made in a workshop in the Münster region by people with disabilities. We deliver one crate each.
Note: Take care when storing fruit and vegetables not to put apples and potatoes in nearby crates.
