Fast and nimble it must be, the mouse that wants to be the first to climb to the top of the cheese. The higher the players*innen make it in a predetermined time, the more points they get. This requires a lot of skill, after all, in Sourisquick the ball inside the mouse must not roll through one of the cheese holes. The mouse gets to the top and around these traps with the help of two pull cords, which the players grab at their ends and use to navigate the mouse. The choice of the ball - a larger wooden and a smaller metal one are included - as well as the set angle of inclination of the game board (three are possible) determine the difficulty level.

Because the Swiss manufacturer processes mainly domestic woods such as maple, birch and beech uncompromisingly: the accuracy of fit of the individual components is impressive, the elements are neatly glued, the surfaces carefully treated. In short: Alfaset's parlor games clearly stand out from the crowd. The same applies to their ability to inspire both children and adults. One of the reasons for this is that the rules are as simple as they are comprehensible, and success does not depend on talent, but to a large extent on lucky coincidences. This occasionally drives some people up the wall, but just as quickly brings them back to the board.
The games are all manufactured in the company's five workshops near Lake Neuchâtel. There, Alfaset employs mainly people with disabilities who work together with skilled carpenters.
