Are 35 tasks not enough? Even if you are a proven puzzler, you will soon realize that 35 tasks can go a long way. Because with Sisal, a very challenging strategy game joins the series of solitaire games. The story of Sisal is quickly told: The queen wants a new sisal rug and she wants it to be as colorful as possible and woven exactly as specified. That sounds far-fetched, but if you comply with the queen's wish - and you should, according to the rules of the game - then you will have quite a while to puzzle it out.

The task booklet provides you with an initial situation, which is defined by the arrangement of the black pieces. You now have the task of placing the colored pieces in such a way that

• they are placed in numerical order, starting with 1 (the tiles are numbered consecutively)

• the next tile is always placed horizontally or vertically next to the previous tile (occupied spaces may be skipped)

• your solution contains predetermined color combinations

That sounds simple, admittedly. But the game really does challenge your logical thinking and can leave you scratching your head from time to time, especially as the level of difficulty increases with each new task. This makes Sisal an excellent game for shutting out the noise of the world and slowing down and concentrating - and you train your strategic and logical thinking at the same time.

The manufacturer makes the game board from solid beech wood, which is not easily shaken. The black game pieces, also made of beech wood, fit perfectly into the neatly milled recesses so that the predetermined arrangement cannot slip. Only the colored pieces made of solid maple wood can be slid smoothly over the playing surface and the recesses so that you can correct mistakes and try out new arrangements. If you want to conquer your inner doubt or simply need a little help, the enclosed solution booklet will give you peace of mind. And of course, not even the queen will be able to stop you from working out a solution together with other players.
