Solid hand cream

Thanks to its firm consistency, this hand cream from Scotland comes to you in a small tinplate tin - instead of a plastic tube - and can therefore also be carried in your hand luggage. This is made possible by using beeswax as a base. It also contains cocoa butter and coconut oil, which are rich in nutrients and moisturizing. The solid hand cream therefore also cares for very dry hands. The intense yet extremely pleasant fragrance - there are five fragrances to choose from - is provided exclusively by natural essential oils. Application is as easy as with any other hand cream: take the solid hand cream briefly in your hand to warm it up, rub it over the skin once or twice if necessary and spread the cream. The solid hand cream is very rich and therefore economical to use.

Like many small natural cosmetics manufacturers, the Edinburgh Natural Skincare Company started production in its own kitchen. For over a year, the company worked on the perfect formulation for its first soap in order to meet the quality standards it had set itself. "Natural means natural" - if something is described as natural, then it must also be 100% natural. This principle runs consistently through all areas of production, from the raw materials used to the packaging. So only pure, natural ingredients, preferably from the region and in organic quality, go into the boiling pots, which have now moved to proper production premises near Edinburgh. The soaps and now also creams, lotions and solid perfume are packaged in paper, glass and tin or biodegradable plastic jars. And so that hand cream can finally do without its plastic tube, the Scots developed a solid hand cream - another good bit of work (many months). Its base is beeswax, which has been used for thousands of years as a natural preservative and stabilizer in personal care. It gives the hand cream such a firm consistency - similar to a bar of soap - that it can be stored in a small tin can.
