The soap cloth is woven from organic cotton as a waffle piqué, giving it a large, textured surface and allowing it to absorb a lot of moisture. It also dries quickly. With its handy size of 25 × 40 cm, it is particularly suitable for soaping up or drying your face and hands. Some people also like to use it as a small kitchen towel. The Danish textile label The Organic Company is not only committed to good, functional design, but also to a considerate approach to the environment and resources. To achieve this, founder Joy Vasiljev only uses cotton from controlled organic cultivation for her textiles. The sewing threads are also made from cotton - which is not a matter of course - just like the fabrics. Since 2010, The Organic Company has also been certified according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), which means that the items are made from natural materials and dyed with harmless substances and that the entire production chain is also monitored to ensure that production takes place under fair conditions. The designs are created in collaboration with Danish textile designers - always with the aim of making the textiles so well thought-out and appealing that they are enjoyed and, above all, used for a long time.
