Sneeboer spade for children

Digging is fun for children - and the digging tool among gardening tools is the spade. In this version, the sharpened front edge of the blade makes it easier to dig into the ground, for example to dig planting holes in your own small garden bed, cut off edges, crush clods of earth or break up roots.

Many children enjoy and demonstrate a strong will when they are allowed to work independently, just like an adult. However, any enthusiasm can - understandably - quickly evaporate if inadequate tools - which are difficult to handle because they are at risk of bending, breaking or splintering - make their work more difficult instead of easier.

When selecting our garden tools for children, we have therefore attached great importance to ensuring that their materials and workmanship meet the same requirements that we place on our tools for adults. For example, they are not stamped from sheet metal, but are hand-forged from stainless steel at Sneeboer in North Holland, and ash wood is used as the material for handles and shafts, which are inserted and riveted into a sufficiently long tool socket. And, of course, we have also made sure that all other products meet our standards.

Our tools for children are not toys. Please consider the age and maturity of the child before letting it work with the tools. Only allow the child to use the tools under supervision and store them in a childproof place after use.
