Snap game of skill

At first glance, the rules of Snap are reminiscent of the classic game of skill with the colorful striped sticks: With a steady hand, a keen eye and an alert mind, the players remove individual pieces from the field without changing the arrangement - but watch out! While the game of chopsticks is still a shaky but generally calm affair, in Snap you can literally await the effects of your move with excitement.

Because before the tiles are freely distributed in the field, the wooden slider is pulled back and tensioned thanks to the metal spring: From then on, it just waits for a suitable hole in the structure, for a change in the statics, to spring forward and press the pieces together again. So if you pull out the "wrong" stone during the course of the game, the slider snaps forward and changes the game situation. Don't be frightened! Your fingers are safe, as the small pins that protrude from the tiles allow optimum access (and a careful check to see if a tile is already loose, as this makes extraction easier). Your nerves, on the other hand, may well be under the same strain as the lurking slider. Players take turns to make their move - if a snap is triggered, it is the next player's turn until all the tiles have been removed from the board.

Young and old alike can practise their skills and try out strategies in this game, both in a solo game and in a round with several other players.
