Smoked chips Palo Santo

In Spanish, the wood of the Bursera graveolens is called Palo Santo (holy wood). In South America in particular, the wood has been used for thousands of years to burn incense in order to harness its cleansing and calming effect in both a physical and spiritual sense. Palo Santo is therefore often used before a yoga class or before a relaxation session or meditation, and many people find the scent particularly soothing in times of stress. The characteristic scent of the resin only develops as it burns: warm, woody and slightly sweet with a hint of coconut.
