Small Japanese Rose Shears

General Information
Made for rose care
Their curved blades identify these bypass shears as classic rose shears. As they are forged in Japan from carbon steel, the blades are extra sharp: they not only cut flower branches but also entire branches smoothly and cleanly.
Compact Format Based on the Large Model.
Producing something in a smaller format does not automatically mean less work is involved. Sometimes the exact opposite is true. These Japanese garden shears prove it: When the smith forges their extra-sharp but relatively delicate carbon steel blades just in the way he does to form the edges of their big sisters, the effort required, indeed, is slightly higher. You can tell this from the fact that even in Japan, a country famous for its forging art, there are no longer many workshops that take the trouble to produce such scissors in small format. The extra effort is also reflected in the price; hence “smaller formats” do not necessarily mean “lower costs”. However, you will soon realise that the investment is worth every penny when you start working with one of these scissors. Designed to fit in (trouser) pockets and narrow spacings in-between flowers on the balcony or in the flowerbed, these scissors lie securely in hand, particularly in smaller ones, and their blades, as mentioned before, stand out featuring the proverbial Japanese sharpness.
