Sjoelbak

"Sjoelen" is the name of this game from Holland where players use their hand to propel 30 wooden pucks into compartments at the end of an almost two-metre-long board (distributing them as equally as possible). It sounds easy, but it actually gets harder or even impossible as pucks accumulate in front of the four compartments. If a puck gets stuck in the entrance to one of the compartments, it can be knocked through the opening by the next puck, similar to billiards.
We offer a fold-up, portable version of the "Sjoelbak" (as the board used for "sjoelen" is called).

The games are made in the company's five own workshops near Lake Neuchâtel, Switzerland. To a large extent, Alfaset employs people with disabilities who work together with qualified carpenters.

The board surface can become dull after prolonged use. Polish with beeswax will renew lustre and former smoothness.
