This terry towel is woven in the Portuguese weaving mill B. Sousa Dias. With a stately material weight of 520 g/sqm, the fabric is exceptionally heavy and voluminous. This is partly due to the fact that the loop warp uses twisted - and not, as is usually the case, single-threaded - cotton yarn. At the same time, the twisted loop yarn creates an extremely even weave, so that the surface of the terry is unusually smooth and even. From southern European tradition testify on the one hand the fringes on both narrow sides, on the other hand the jacquard woven border, which is woven on only one narrow side and is set off in color solely by the additionally incorporated undyed linen yarn.
