The bathroom accessories designed by architect Theo Keller are produced in a southern German metal-working shop and involve a high degree of hand-crafting. All the items – from the towel rail through the soap dish to the toilet roll holder – are made from the same workpiece, namely a stainless steel rod with a diameter of 8 mm, by bending, buckling and turning it.

The utensils, designed by architect Theo Keller, are manufactured in a locksmith's shop in southern Germany with a high proportion of handicraft work.
The principle: all utensils - from the towel bar to the soap holder to the toilet paper holder - are made from the same workpiece, a stainless steel rod 8 mm in diameter, by bending, folding and turning. The only fastening element is a ring manufactured on the lathe, also made of stainless steel and fitted with a wall screw; other parts such as covers or similar are superfluous. The ring provides fixed or movable storage for the various items, either individually or in pairs. For fixed storage, it is equipped with an additional hole and a hexagon socket grub screw.
The designer himself provides his bathroom series with the attributes "final, timeless, ascetic". We would have nothing to add to that.
Finally, the Design Center of North Rhine-Westphalia recognized the quality of this design in 2004 with the Red Dot Award for product design, one of the most important prizes for good design.
