Slightly elevated
Generally, rain barrels, so that they do not draw moisture from below, should not stand on garden land or beds, but on solid ground. On this Unterstellkreuz they are additionally slightly elevated - so if a drainage tap is attached, this can also still be operated comfortably and possibly a vessel placed underneath.

Barrels for collecting rain should not stand directly in the garden or flower bed; the closed up contact to soggy underground might detriment the wood. With this base, that problem is avoided, and at the slight distance from the ground, an outlet tap can be operated with room to fit a basin underneath.
Solid Douglas Fir, durable and weather resistant. Height 12.5 cm, width 82 cm, depth 82 cm. Weight 7.7 kg. Delivered in two parts which are easily screwed together.
