The Gastronorm containers are dimensioned so that the larger base area in each case is a multiple of the smaller one. They are robust, durable (because they are corrosion-resistant), temperature-resistant, easy to clean, odorless as well as tasteless and can even be recycled in scrap metal at the end of a kitchen life. In the (refrigerator) cabinet or on the kitchen shelf, the containers can be stacked and then take up little space even in larger numbers.
