The "Mono" is your Frankfurter Brett if you don't just cook for yourself, but like to feed friends and family often and gather a group of four to eight people around your dining table. The chopping board - optionally made of oiled walnut or oak wood - has the appropriate format and the Gastronorm containers supplied have sufficient capacity. This makes mise en place for a multi-course meal child's play! The Frankfurt kitchen was a revolution in architecture in the 1920s. The prototype of the modern fitted kitchen was intended to rationalize all work processes around the stove and make ingredients, crockery and all important utensils easily accessible. The design by architect Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky was conceived as a workplace for one person and was primarily based on ergonomic and practical considerations. The Frankfurter Brett, which has the association in its name and takes up Schütte-Lihotzky's idea anew - on a smaller scale - and rethinks it in line with today's requirements, succeeds in doing the same.

Mise en place like in a professional kitchen has never been easier than with this kitchen workbench. We offer the Frankfurter Brett in different versions. But whether you choose the large mono or the smaller basic version, the principle is the same. You receive a robust chopping board (various types of wood are available) that finds its (main) place on the worktop or cooking island. The equipment includes solid holding brackets made of stainless steel rods which, when extended, are designed to hold Gastronorm containers in various formats. If you do not want to use your mise-en-place station or want to store it in the kitchen cupboard, you can simply slide these brackets into the sides of the chopping board. The containers with lids supplied are suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher. Long story short: the freshly weighed green herbs, the chopped vegetables and diced meat, the sliced salad and the chopped onions - all the ingredients you have prepared for cooking can be stored in the containers. Practical: with a "wipe", chopping waste and leftovers also end up in them and can then be disposed of together.
