Whether in the office or home office, anyone who spends many hours sitting during their workday appreciates variety. After all, the more often you actively challenge your back and keep it moving, the healthier your daily sitting will be. A seat ball is the ideal addition to a height- and tilt-adjustable office chair. It entices constant movement in the form of rolls, swings and circles that your body must constantly compensate for. This constant change of position trains the entire torso musculature - functionally and quite incidentally. However, sitting on the ball requires a little attention, because the straight posture of the spine does not happen by itself. You can also slump down on the ball, which is recommended as a short break and change of position, but is not advisable as a permanent position in front of the desk.
And one more piece of advice: Give your back time to get used to active sitting. Start the "training" slowly, because sitting on the (in the physical sense) unstable base can confidently be described as such. It is recommended to initially sit on the ball two to three times a day for 20-30 minutes.

In contrast to the previous colorful colleagues, this seat ball for office and leisure comes with a haptically pleasant cover made of wool felt. Visually, it remains in the background as a gray eminence - and stays there: this is ensured by the reinforcement in the bottom of the ball, which shifts the center of gravity downward so that the ball does not roll away uncontrollably, but remains in place. In addition, it always swings out in such a way that the seat remains on top and any dust or crumbs can only collect at the bottom.
Like the commercially available ones, the seat ball is made of durable PVC and additionally covered with a felt made of pure new wool. Due to the smooth fiber surface, sheep's wool is naturally dirt-repellent and has a kind of self-cleaning effect. In addition, virgin wool (the one used here comes from Great Britain) is very robust and hard-wearing, especially when it has been processed into thick felt, as is the case here. By the way, the label made of artificial leather serves not only to carry the name of the Hamburg manufacturer Stryve, but also as a handle. So you can easily carry the seat ball (after work) from the office to the living room or children's room. Because as a sports equipment, it is of course just as good to use as a seat.

The seat ball is inflated with the supplied air pump. With 65 centimeters in diameter, it is suitable for people with a height between 160 and 190 centimeters. The ball offers a little leeway when inflating: it has the ideal sitting height when your hips and thighs form a little more than 90° while sitting on the sit ball.
The plastic ball inside is very stable and can withstand quite a bit. And don't worry if it should tear: You won't end up sitting on the seat of your pants, because the ball can't burst. It will only slowly run out of air. For this (rare) case, you can get a replacement from us.
